Accessibility issues to address: memory issues and vision impairment
- Have text large enough to be readable for everyone considered.
- Choose a text that is easily readable (choosing a web safe font).
- Don’t use words that can be spelt the same but have different meanings (would be able to be understood through a screen reader).
- Group like information together so it’s easy to find and won’t have to be cross referenced.
- Use skip links to further the accessibility of quickly finding information on the app.
- Use hierarchy in text to clearly differentiate the relative importance of each piece of content.
- Use a matte finish on print outs and maps to avoid glare.
- With using photos of the airfield on the app, you want to anchor the image to a specific text so it’s readable through a screen reader.

You’ve done a good job of pulling out the pertinent information. A bit more detail would be good. You’re handing this off to a team of developers and designers – they don’t want to do any more research (that was your job) so you need to be precise about things like ‘bigger font’ – give an exact pt size (or a range).
